Travel Sponsorship Guidelines

Travel sponsorships are available for all teams selected to participate in the semi-final rounds of Global Venture Challenge 2010. The sponsorship levels are based solely upon distance traveled from the university to Oak Ridge, Tennessee by the team members.

  • $4,000 for International teams
  • $2,000 for United States teams traveling 250 miles or more, one way
  • $1,000 for United States teams traveling LESS than 250 miles, one way

When to expect the money: A check will be issued to the University in the corresponding dollar value and will be presented to teams during the finals awards ceremony held on Friday, March 26, 2010.
